![]() It's only flaw is what to do with the prisoners on the way to jail. Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi. So the Redeemer would be a great multi-crew combat ship for battling pirates and carrying a boarding party of Bounty Hunters. A blade runner must pursue and terminate four replicants who stole a ship in space and have returned to Earth. If you disabled and boarded a ship in space, it would be impractical to deposit the apprehended criminal in the cargo pod, because it would necessitate going EVA. It would only work if the Redeemer was landed on a planet or in a hangar aboard a ship or space station. The biggest problem is that the cargo pod doesn't appear to be internally accessible, so loading the prisoners would be difficult. I suppose you could carry prisoners coffin-style. Whereas the Redeemer only has the cargo pod in the tail. The Constellation and Caterpillar could easily be modified with holding cells in the cargo hold or a brig module. (Unless CIG designs a Bounty Hunter variant model with holding cells.) The only problem is that the Redeemer isn't designed with a brig or holding cells, so that might be a problem. Whereas a Bounty Hunter Team with multiple ships could take on a Pirate Clan and kill or capture them all, then load the prisoners aboard the Redeemer (or other multi-crew ship) and haul then to the QuarterDeck to collect the bounty. A single ship would effectively restrict the team to a single target, like a multi-crew Pirate Ship that the Redeemer has to disable and board. The Redeemer would certainly make an ideal Bounty Hunter Team ship.Īlthough, a Bounty Hunter TEAM should have multiple ships, not one multi-crew ship. So I would think that the Hornets would definitely need to be accompanied by 1-2 Gladiators or a Retaliator in order to have a chance at winning against an Idris. So while 5 Hornets could take down a Constellation (but might lose 1-2 Hornets in the process depending on the skill of the Constellation crew), but 5 Hornets against a fullly manned Idris would not even be a challenge for the Idris and the result should be a lot of destroyed Hornets (unless the Idris crew is afk). it is $100 so a Freelancer should be slightly better although not at fighting!)!ĭo you recall in which video Chris stated that 5 Hornets could easily kill an Idris? Personally I would find this very hard to believe as the Idris can field 2-3 fighters of its own and has a very impressive number of weapons to defend itself with. On the other hand Chris stated in a video on the Youtube Channel that the balancing will be heavy as a group of 5 hornets will easily kill an Indris, so I doubt two Hornets will struggle (however a cutlass WHICH IS NOT a well armoured light-med fighter will struggle, I hate people that overwrite average ships just because it has "pirate" in the game description. Remember that it has a cruise and normal cruise, when not in hypercruise it should be a lot slower then people like myself brag about, the actual main advantage is the 8xTr3 thrusters as even old cutty will struggle to stay in a place that turrets don't reach (and the 4 crew will easily counter 2-4 pirates if a cutty gets its thrusters). ![]()
